**The Role**: Stores Team Leader

**Location**: Hemswell, DN21 5TU

**Shift Pattern/Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 17:00pm

**Salary**: £36,162.76

**Purpose of the role**:
Accountable for the effective operation of the engineering stores department at Clean Tech UK.

Responsible for ensuring all stock movements are controlled, booked out and replacement stock is ordered through use of MRP within SAP.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Promote a strong EHS culture always leading by example.
- Demonstrate an engaging but challenging leadership style ensuring the stores department operates effectively.
- To promote problem solving within team to ensure mínimal plant downtime.
- Implement and maintain corrective actions from non-conformances identified EHS or Quality observations.
- Conduct various types of one to ones, inclusive of quarterly ones to ones, annual appraisals, and return to work interviews with direct reports.
- Following site policies and procedures, completing relevant paperwork ensuring compliance is met.
- Accountable for making sure stores department training is kept up to date and in line with business requirements.
- Responsible for quarterly stock counts and that they are completed in full and in time, whilst pro-actively working towards mínimal stock write offs through departmental controls.
- Manage supplier relationships and open orders.
- Develop stores inventory controls, working closely with the engineering department to ensure the correct parts, quantities and suppliers are being stocked and within the company’s budget forecast.
- Co-ordinating the improvements of stock holding and layout of the warehouse to make it more efficient.
- Oversee invoice queries to resolve & proactively looking at ways to reduce reoccurrence.
- Liable for stores stock accuracy, ensuring items are booked out and returned correctly, investigate route cause and drive corrective actions.
- Oversee repairs/calibration process ensuring quotations are obtained in a timely manner and regular service items are returned in line with site requirements.
- Supervise the controls of slow-moving stock ensuring mínimal impact to the companies monthly reporting.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a store’s environment.
- 2 years’ experience in a managerial / team leader role.
- A good understanding of Stores & Stock control practises.
- EHS compliance.
- SAP Business One.
- IOSH desired.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,162.76 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
