**Role Outline**:
The Sales Consultant is responsible for managing inbound leads from existing and new customers looking for Online training courses and converting those leads into sales through gaining an understanding of the customers needs and opening new opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to increase revenue.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Convert inbound leads for Online training and e-learning courses into sales opportunities and increase revenue by cross-selling and upselling to existing customers- Utilise CRM and other lead management tools to track and forecast sales activity- Identify and qualify leads, and move them through the sales funnel by actively engaging with customers- Develop a deep understanding of HST products, services and solutions in order to give expert advice to potential customers.- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve sales targets and goals- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, to develop effective lead generation campaigns and strategies- Continuously improve the lead management process by tracking and analysing lead performance metrics and utilising industry best practices.

**Product Development**- Provide feedback on products, the market and competitor activity- Identify business opportunities and coordinate customer feedback- Assist the product team to investigate market value of new services and ensure successful market penetration

**General**- Produce and work to sales plans, team objectives and the companys core values- Supply accurate and timely weekly and monthly reports- Attend and contribute to sales meeting- Attend training events relevant to the role and HST values- Carry out any other duties that the company deem appropriate

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Strong previous experience in sales employing a consultative sales process with the drive to exceed expectations.
- Ideally youll have some sales experience within the business to business sectors
- A team player with the ability to work to team goals, dedicated to team collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, customers and suppliers.
- A self starter, highly organised and efficient, able to manage and prioritise work effectively, with a good attention to detail.
- Experience of CRM systems for controlling workflow would be an advantage
