We are offering a 2 year apprenticeship with Day Release to a local Further Education College studying Carpentry and Joinery (Level 2)

The applicant must be fluent in English and have a good grounding in maths, they must also be interested in physical work and timber products.

We are expecting the applicant to start work asap and to join our team in Kingston upon Thames as a workshop junior until the college course starts in September. Once the course starts the applicant will be working in house 4 days per week and attending college 1 day per week.

No experience is essential but any experience you have will be viewed positively. You will be initially taught how to handle timber, keep the workshop clean and tidy, handle glazed units, paint and hand tools. There are various roles within the workshop including machining, joinery, spray painting, installing handles / locks etc, glazing and packing. The apprentice will be exposed to all these areas of the workshop.

**Salary**: £4.81-£9.17 per hour
