**Assistant Underwriter - Harrogate / Darlington - ARDIF881861**

We are currently looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our Underwriting Support team. This role is office based and can be undertaken at our offices in either Harrogate or Darlington.

Geo Agriculture is a dynamic and fast growing specialist underwriting business. Our proposition is centred on technical and service excellence, product coverage, fair and consistent pricing and our trusted claims service and we champion high levels of technical capability with strong ability to build and maintain relationships.

**So what does an Assistant Underwriter do?**

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities
- Preparation and production of client records
- Preparation, production, and delivery of policy renewal invitations
- Checking Third Party databases and accurately recording results
- Production of management information reports and creating outputs for the business

**What are we looking for**
- Someone with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- It would be ideal if you have farm knowledge/ background and you want to get into the Insurance Industry however this is not essential
- Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and organise personal workloads
- Excellent written verbal and numerical skills
- Highly organised with a focus on objectives, priorities, and deliverables
