We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Instructor Keeper to join our Animal Management Department here at our York campus. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is capable of working with others and is responsible, passionate and knowledgeable about the overall animal management sector and has an enthusiastic approach to animal husbandry and welfare.
The post will require you to work with a range of species within the park and deliver practical modules to Level 2 and 3 learners including assessments.
Reporting to the Wildlife Park Managers Responsibilities include the day to day care and management of the animal section, general cleaning, feeding, maintenance and record keeping of the animal species. You will be part of the Zoo and Birds Team and we are especially interested in someone with a focus on birds.
