Winner Recruitment are currently supporting a manufacturing company based in Barnsley with the hiring of their **Quality Assurance Engineer**

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be providing quality assurance support to production areas of assigned responsibility, facilitate, and deliver the development of robust preventative actions using proven problem-solving techniques of in-processquality concerns, ensuring all in-process quality concerns are contained within the area affected and are not passed on to the next process. Promoting a no-fault forward attitude always. Maintain accurate data for Management KPI’s for accurate and effectivedecision making.

The duties of the **Quality Assurance Engineer**will be:

- To provide support to all operational processes and maintaining of quality Systems and procedure in line with the company standards.
- Support the development of a no-fault forward culture through the facilitation of problem solving resulting in the prevention of day-to-day quality issues.
- Provide measured data and analysis of data to support management decisions concerning quality performance.
- Provide effective containment and preventative action response to customer complaints affecting your assigned areas of responsibility.
- Perform System and Process audits to ISO9001:2015 requirements.
- 5S Understanding, Implementation and improvement.
- Perform, Review and mitigate weld audits.
- Effective management of Quarantine racking.
- Calibration of measurement equipment in area of responsibility.
- I-Auditor Creation/ Modification.
- IPI Creation/ Modification.
- Perform, Analyse and improve Gauge R&R.
- Implement SPC/ Capability providing feedback of discrepancies and deviations.
- Raising of Concern notes, Effective containment, Effective investigation with adequate verification and validation of mitigation actions.
- Reduction of CN/QR/QN.
- Raising of PCN to supply base.
- Expedite PCN (Product Concern Note) Resolution.
- Expedite PCN Collection.
- Validate/ Verify PCN correction, Corrective and Preventative actions.
- Effective root cause analysis using proven techniques (5why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, Pareto)
- Implementation and ongoing development of PFMEA,
- Implementation and Development of process flows and control plans.
- HQD Creation and ongoing development.
- Implementation and ongoing development of How to guides.
- Creation and delivery of toolbox talks.
- Creation of Quality Alerts.
- Attend Stakeholder meetings for the production areas assigned as your responsibility and provide timely feedback and complete actions to agreed time scales.
- Provide support were assigned by the Quality Manager for the integration of New Products through the deployment of APQP Advanced Product Quality Planning tools and methodology, integrating PPAP Product Part Approval Process for internal processed partsand externally supplied parts.
- To implement and maintain process control measurement systems e.g. SPC Statistical Process Control,Process Capability measures Cpk/Ppk,
- Provide in-process inspection, and PDI final inspection documentation,
- Day to day liaison with Milton Keynes Quality Team for the immediate containment of QR/QN issues raised.
- Coordination of Periodic inspection and control of jigs and fixtures calibration.
- Coordinate goods inward inspection measurement to agreed sample size and specification.
- ISIR Verification (GD&T)
- Auditing of supply base (Global)
- Perform any other reasonable managers request to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Flexibility to ensure targets are met.

The ideal **Quality Assurance Engineer**will have:

- ISO9001 Audit qualification.
- Experience in manufacturing practices; Welding/Fabrication, CNC Machining, Assembly, Finishing Processes and Pressing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Computer literate - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint also Access and Project but not essential.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015)
- Proven Problem-Solving experience, 5why, Ishikawa and 8D methods

The salary for the **Quality Assurance Engineer** £38,000 per annum

The hours for the**Quality Assurance Engineer**are Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 16:30pm Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm
