Fresh-Pak Chilled Foods Ltd seeks an exceptional Quality Assurance Specialist to drive excellence in our Technical Team. This dynamic role offers an incredible opportunity to shape the quality standards of our factory.

The primary focus of this position is to provide high-level expertise in quality assurance and food safety, collaborating closely with various departments to address technical issues, maintain databases, and participate in project-based work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Lead a team of QA professionals, coordinating their tasks, identifying skill gaps, and arranging necessary training.
  • Identify and report critical food safety, quality, and regulatory concerns to senior management.
  • Strengthen Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance through thorough audits and enforcement of corrective measures.
  • Oversee regular equipment calibrations within the factory.
  • Confirm adherence to Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Pre-Requisite Program outlined in the HACCP Plan, documenting results accurately.
  • Address deviations from our quality and food safety policies, initiate investigations, and implement remedial actions.
  • Contain non-conforming products effectively, facilitating communication and resolution with the manager and stakeholders.

We offer a generous salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per year, influenced by experience, along with multiple benefits such as a comprehensive pension scheme, free meals, and generous parental leave packages.
