About us

Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.

While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.

Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.

**Job Description**:
BALENCIAGA Stock Runner, Bicester Village

We are currently seeking a Stock Runner who will report to Stock Manager and Store Manager for our store in Bicester Village.
- Your opportunity_

The Stock Runner is a junior back of house position who plays a key role in supporting the Stock Team with the back of house store operations. The Stock Runner contributes to maximising efficiency of the stock procedures to ultimately drive the business.
- How you will contribute_
- Support the Stock Team with processing the deliveries of new stock and store supplies
- Contribute to stockroom organisation in line with Balenciaga standards as directed by the Stock and Store Management team
- Ticketing and labelling of the product
- Assist with shop floor product replenishment
- Support the Sales team on the shop floor by running product from the stock rooms to the shop floor as needed
- Support the Stock Manager / Store Manager Control to complete regular inventory counts
- Be a stakeholder in monitoring loss-prevention and stock discrepancies
- Build good relationships with other Balenciaga store teams to facilitate product transfers
