Well then, I have the job for youMy client makes officially branded driveable little cars for luxury high-end motor manufacturers such as Bugatti, Aston Martin and Ferrari. They are looking for an Operations Specialist who is efficiency driven, process-loving organisational rockstar to help turn them into a well-oiled machine. In effect, this person will implement ways to do things that will make our whole operation more robust. That said, it won’t all be running around behind the scenes, as there will also be an element of liaising with their visitors and potential clientsAs this is an integral role within the business and you will be responsible for the timely procurement of consumables and commodities for manufacture of our vehicles and to keep the business running with particular involvement to support production. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a small close-knit team.Job Responsibilities:* Raise Purchase Orders for consumables and commodities* Raise Purchase Orders for Production and prototype components* Convert Purchase Requests from iDocuments into SAP B1* Daily close Liaison with Key Suppliers* Monitor and manage stock levels of consumables and fasteners* Work closely with Engineering & ProductionExperience Required:* Experience of ERP Systems* Engineering and technical knowledgeDesirable Experience:* Procurement & Buying experience* Automotive &/or Motorsport experience* Knowledge of niche Production/ Assembly environmentsWhy work here?* Full time in at Bicester Heritage, the UK’s first automotive campus.
