**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Global Manufacturing Engineering Logistics team is actively seeking a Process Improvement and Data Lead to join their team at the Logistics Operations Centre (LOC) Solihull. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in defining the future state of our Manufacturing Logistics value stream, driving process efficiency, and contributing to the development of our global Logistics Operating System.

Collaborating across departments, including other Global Manufacturing Engineering functions, Supply Chain, Digital, In-plant Logistics and Manufacturing Operations, you will actively enable our data-driven problem-solving and future state planning activities, defining and developing the ingredients to build an inclusive, standardised strategy for Manufacturing Logistics.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Gather and analyse data to support fact-based problem-solving workshops and contribute to the creation and management of standardised countermeasures, emphasising process efficiency and performance measurement.
- Ensure good quality data is available for in-depth value stream mapping exercises, enabling the design and implementation of efficient Logistics Value Streams and operating models.
- Engage proactively with stakeholder groups on strategic initiatives within the Global Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics and Manufacturing organisations.
- Design & develop a global template for reporting across Manufacturing Logistics, ensuring KPIs are clear, concise and add value.
- Play a vital role in re-focusing Logistics on fundamentals such as IPS, and supporting Environmental and Sustainability initiatives within the Manufacturing Logistics function, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with materials planning and logistics strategies, emphasising the strategic importance of using data to drive decision making.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
- Proficiency in gathering an analysing data to drive informed decision making
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in driving structured problem solving activity (8D or A3 PPS), using data to establish the facts.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean principles, with a particular emphasis on driving value through value-stream mapping and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, bringing a problem-solving mindset to collective efforts.
- Exposure to complex manufacturing or logistics environments, with a focus on warehousing & linefeed processes.
