We are actively looking to appoint a Yard Assistant to join our successful team in our Leigh branch. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service, this may be the right opportunity for you IPAF preferred but not essential.

Yard Assistant

Your job

In this role as a yard/workshop Assistant some of the duties involve:

- Pick & prepare powered access for loading
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles
- Working outdoors in all weathers
- Ensuring the yard & Workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Cleaning up any spills / sweeping the yard/workshop area
- Washing down vehicles/plant/trucks
- Taking deliveries
- Stock checks

Job Requirements

Required:

- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leigh WN7 3FZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
