An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Customer Service Apprentice to join the Elective Admissions Team.

Applicants need to have well developed communication skills and be able to work under pressure. The role is demanding but very rewarding. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual who can work flexibly and efficiently.

You will provide under supervision and following appropriate training an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to the organisations team in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
1. Work efficiently in Elective Admissions Department to undertake basic administration and clerical duties as directed.
2. Strictly follow the Trust’s confidentiality policies and procedures in handling sensitive information.
3. Data input, data extraction, photocopying, organizing files and typing duties as directed.
4. Accurately enter data including TCI files into the software systems as appropriate andmaintain filing systems in line with organisational policies and procedures.
5. Use of office equipment including photocopier and scanner to produce documents to a high standard.
6. Support the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records, to obtain and retrieve records as requested.

9. Liaise and coordinate in a professional manner using effective and appropriate communication
channels between specialities and Elective Admissions team.
10. Attend and take part in team meetings and regular reviews with line manager etc. Attend meetings and participate in relevant training programmes as requested by the organisation.
11. Collect TCI and Pre-Op Assessment forms from differently speciality departments and distribute the collected forms to the appropriate speciality booking clerks.
