Newstaff Employment Services are recruiting for a Corporate Finance Manager to join a successful accountancy practice based in St Albans.

This is a varied role which will involve working within the corporate finance team on financial due diligence, valuations, bank lending reviews, assisting clients with acquisitions, sales or mergers.

As manager you will support the senior members of the team on a wide range of transactions taking a leading role.This will involve being responsible for drafting key transaction documents, such as due diligence reports, information memorandum and valuationreports for Director review.The role will involve interfacing with clients, management, external financiers, lawyers and other professionals as necessary.

Main Duties:

- Take the lead role in project managing transaction, the preparation of due diligence and valuation reports, information memorandums and financial models.
- Coordinate the access to financial information on projects and present it in a manner to allow for financial analysis to be undertaken on it.
- Preparation of fee estimates, engagement planning memorandum, proposals and budget for client assignments.
- Attend and lead in meetings relevant to the projects/transactions.
- Support the team’s marketing and business development activities.

IT Skills
- Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word and Power pointMicrosoft Outlook.

Qualificiations:
ACA/ACCA qualified
**Experience**:

- At least three years of experience of working in the corporate finance sector, with significant experience in working on due diligence assignments or company valuations (in particular drafting the relevant reports).
- Proven relevant experience and technical knowledge gained in a similar environment, for example audit.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week

**Salary**: £40,000 pa to £65,000 pa + Pension + Private Health + Benefits
