Outreach Support Worker - Nithsdale, Annandale and Surrounding Area

DGMHA is a registered and established Scottish Charity working with people who have diagnosed and complex mental health needs throughout Dumfries and Galloway with a strong vision and deliver excellence in care and support provision.

No two days will be the same, you will enjoy a varied role providing consistent care and support for setting up tenancies, people living in their own tenancies, transitioning from acute mental health units and social community integration ensuring our support meets the assessed practical and emotional needs of management and recovery modelled by the lived experience of people affected by mental health.

The role will involve supporting people with all aspects of home and community living, emotional and phycological support. We seek to empower and build confidence ensuring a healthy and fulfilled daily lifestyle. Support can often be a listening ear, signposting, engaging in social activities, meal preparation attending appointments alongside coping mechanisms, medication administeration and wellbeing support.

In return you will work for a Charity that puts adult wellbeing and safeguarding at the forefront of everything we do and be part of a friendly, ambitious, driven and innovative team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.35 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
