£23362 - 26419 (equiv hourly pay rate is £12.83 - 14.52 depending on experience)

Monday to Friday 9am - 4.30pm (30 minute lunch)

**OVERVIEW**
Large Public Sector organisation seek an experienced Administrator / Receptionist for long term sick cover contract.
This is a fun team with a relaxed atmosphere in the office. They are seeking a helpful and friendly type of individual.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
To provide a professional Reception service at the organisations Dalmuir office and to provide admin support services across the company as directed by the Corporate Services Officer and the Director.

As a primary point of contact, you must provide a polite, pleasant and helpful service to the public. Answering all incoming calls will be an important part of this role.

This position will also involve providing a service to other staff internally, who will rely on an efficient office administration. Attention to detail is therefore essential in this job.

Based at Reception, you will ensure that the public area is neat and tidy and safe for all visitors.

Ensure that general forms and information are distributed to service users.

Ensure that relevant correspondence is recorded and actioned within the agreed timescales.

Taking minutes at internal meetings when required.

**ADMIN**
Assist with the distribution of agendas, papers and minutes for committee and other meetings as and when required.

Assist with compiling newsletters and arranging printing and delivery within the agreed timescales.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, purchase stamps and post/deliver mail as required.

Give applicants basic assistance in completing forms in reception and answering simple queries.

**GENERAL**
Assist the Corporate Services Officer with a range of duties in the office including regular Health & Safety inspections, fire alarm tests and evacuation procedures, legionella tests. Provide proactive admin support to the Corporate Services Officer and Director working on a range of initiatives across all areas of the company.

Attend training seminars or meetings as appropriate.
