Outdoors Holidays Operation Assistant

We are looking for an Outdoors Holidays Operation Assistant for our holiday cottages at Ickworth. Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable holidays experience for our guests.

**Hours**:15 **per week (over 3 days) during the spring to autumn season and **12 **per week, in winter months

**Contract**:Permanent

**Salary**:£11 per hour

**This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year**

What you'll be doing:This will be a physically demanding job, undertaking regular weekly mowing of large garden areas, occasional hedge cutting and clearance, general border weeding and assisting the Holidays team with reactive minor maintenance repairs both inside and outside cottages. In addition to leaf clearance during the winter months, there would be varied practical tasks such as preparation/painting inside the cottages along with minor routine maintenance jobs. You may also be involved with face-to-face interactions with guests, contractors and other colleagues within the wider Estate team.

A positive can-do attitude is a must in the varying world of Holidays and is more important in this role than factual gardening knowledge, which we can help you develop whilst working with us.
