Oxford, United Kingdom University of Oxford Full time

We are looking to appoint a Research Assistant to join Brain & Cognition Laboratory, reporting to Professor Kia Nobre and Professor Mark Woolrich. The post is based in the Oxford Centre for Human Brain Activity (OHBA) in the Department of Psychiatry, at the Warneford Hospital.

The post is for a fixed term (funded for 12 months).

You will take an active role supporting behavioural, MEG/EEG, and MRI studies being carried out as part of the programme of research. Activities will range from recruiting and scheduling healthy older participants and neurological/psychiatric patients, through to analysing data and presenting results. The varied portfolio of activities will suit individuals with a keen interest in the translational cognitive neuroscience of neurodegeneration.

You should have a first degree (2:1 or above) in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a relevant area of science along with a commitment to research and a track record of research experience (commensurate with stage). With an interest in scientific research into human cognition, you will have the ability to work with healthy older participants and neurological/psychiatric patients as experimental participants. Experience in collecting behavioural, EEG MRI and MEG data would be desirable.

The closing date for this post is 12.00 midday on 21st November.
