This is a long-term role based on a standard hourly rate of £11.60 per hour.

A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People is essential, as well as experience of working with children and young people, and having current accredited training for example, Safe Handling of Medication, Moving & Assisting and First Aid, etc would be advantageous.

Documents such as an Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to get one are also essential for this role.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of a team, providing and promoting person-centred care and support, enabling children and young people to make choices and have control over their daily lives.
