We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with care needs to live independent and fulfilling lives.
Our service in Sunderland provides 24-hour support to our service users, and we require warm, motivated, and person-centred individuals to provide personalised support to meet individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking and cleaning.
- Provide excellent, respectful personal care to service users and assist with the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication.
- Encourage individuals to engage in a wide range of exciting activities at home and out in the community.
- Work within a positive behaviour support framework to promote growth and confidence.
- Flexibly work according to the needs of the service, including sleep-in shifts.
We provide full and ongoing training, and prior experience is not required. Our service has great public transport links, and we offer a range of benefits, including a probationary bonus, pension contributions, and 28 days' annual leave.
