- General Purpose of Role_:
Main Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to setup third party global depots for use in clinical trials. Once the depot(s) has/have been setup in accordance with the project, the Global Logistics Team will handoff the project to the distribution project manager to maintain but remain involved as a point of escalation and to monitor depot performance metrics.
- Position and department will be intimately involved with the project from initial quoting through the first shipment of material to the depot. They will continue to monitor the depot performance and address any issues that arise for the particular trial or in general.
- Position and department will work closely with Business Development during the quotation phase to identify the global depot strategy, associated costs and all necessary permits and licenses along with a timeline and information required for each item.
- Support and attend client kick-off meetings, study close-out meetings, and facilitate study meetings throughout the execution phase of clinical studies where appropriate.
- Support the international movement of company materials.
- Support a global harmonized approach to Depot Selection, Setup, and Management, supporting the ONE PCI and Speed Solution initiatives across existing and future global facilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high energy fast paced environment.
- Support auditing of global logistic providers, including but not limited to supply depots and transportation providers.
- Support PCI’s Global Clinical Strategy and Business Development by creating and presenting marketing material as SME for specialty logistics.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure proper vendor management metrics and programs are in place for all global logistics partners and participate in QBRs. Position and team will schedule and lead the QBRs with strategic 3rd party depot partners, working with the Distribution and PM teams to solicit feedback on areas of opportunities.
- Specific Qualifications_:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or significant related experience and/or training.
- Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
