Operations Finance Analyst

Role Description
To provide analysis & insights through reporting to ensure the effective delivery of the Site and Chilled Meals strategy in line with statutory, Pilgrims Group and best practice standards. Ownership for the delivery of the Cost of sales (Crate costs, Yieldsand PPV's) reporting for the Noon's business and 4 Factories (Windmill Lane, Collett Way, Dean Way, Spurway)
- Prepare, distribute and provide insights to the Yields (internal and external) reports on a weekly basis
- Prepare, distribute and provide insights to the Product Price Variance report on a weekly basis
- Noon weekly Flash/ performance report
- Reconcile our GRIR account to supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Reconciliation of reports to General Ledger (SAP)
- Raising ad-hoc Manual payments for suppliers.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly journals, Highlighting and providing insights to performance and highlighting on-going opportunities/risks to the P&L and communicating appropriately to various stakeholders.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Monthly review meetings, managing Risk and highlighting Opportunities.
- Supporting delivery of annual budget/projection, forecasts and year end accounts.
- Provision of quality information and analysis of key financial data
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Pilgrim's procedures
- Follow agreed standardised metrics and reports
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk
- Assist in preparation and presentation of timely, accurate, value-added information to site teams including financial analysis that assists in operational decision making
Skills and Experience
A graduate, you will be working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA preferably).
You will have strong analytical and numerical skills with extensive knowledge of management accounting, ideally within an FMCG organisation. Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills. SAP and BI experience is desirable.
You are a results driven person with attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships across a matrix organisation.
