Accountancy Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Accountancy Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in accountancy, with a starting salary of £19,000 per year and the potential for pay rises upon completion of objectives and qualifications. As an apprentice, you will receive full training and have your AAT qualifications funded, providing a solid foundation for your future success.

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) with a Grade B (7) minimum, including English and maths. Good numeracy skills are essential, and self-motivation will be key to your success as an apprentice.

As an Accountancy Apprentice, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing accounts using IT software such as Microsoft and Xero.
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers, recording financial transactions, and ensuring accuracy.
- Assisting with credit control and managing outstanding balances.
- Collaborating with the team to solve problems and contribute to overall efficiency.
- Preparing draft accounts and reconciliations under the guidance of our experienced finance manager.

You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and qualifications through day release for training, a designated trading advisor, workplace mentorship, and regular progress reviews. We encourage and support your growth in the field of accountancy.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, based in Nuneaton. We offer free parking and a comprehensive pension scheme as part of our employee benefits package.
