As a Trainer, your role will be to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and through the delivery of bespoke group training and/or 1:1 support, motivate and empower clients to overcome barriers and develop new skills that will support their journey towards and into employment.
**MAIN AIMS**
- You will actively support clients to overcome barriers through the delivery of group or 1:1 training;
- You will prepare and develop a range of resources and deliver training that will upskill clients;
- You will deliver a range of community events, group sessions and presentations to engage clients;
- You will capture and record data accurately and evaluate client learning experiences.
**DUTIES**
- As a Trainer you will contribute to team targets and KPI's in line with the performance management framework;
- You will assist unemployed people in South Lanarkshire to progress towards employment through training, learning and development;
- To design and deliver a range of group training sessions where appropriate with a particular focus on bespoke activity to meet client needs;
- Plan and deliver group, pre-employment and sector routeway training to unemployed clients across a range of sectors;
- Develop excellent knowledge of the local labor market to inform training delivery;
- Design and deliver a range of materials that will support learning and enable clients to develop new skills;
- To adapt delivery style to meet the learning needs of clients;
- To capture information, record it accurately and input it according to the company quality standards;
- To deliver and maintain a quality service at all times in line with RTWS Customer Service Standards Policy and Procedures;
- To monitor and evaluate group delivery and support to maximise client outcomes and meet employer needs;
- To carry out any other duties as and when required by the Company.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:
**Essential**
Previous experience delivering training on a group and/or 1:1 basis.
Experience developing appropriate partnerships and relationships.
An ability to develop and deliver pre employment support individually tailored to meet client needs.
Knowledge of barriers facing customers entering employment, training or education.
A clear understanding of employability, and how to support clients through various stages of development and achievement.
A willingness to be creative and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery.
A positive and creative attitude to problem solving.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills.
A professional manner in dealing with clients, colleagues and employers.
An understanding of collaborative working.
Driving licence and own transport
**Desirable**
Knowledge of local labour market intelligence.
A relevant qualification in training delivery or facilitation
Experience of mentoring clients

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
