**The Role **- Payroll Assistant**

Nova Systems International is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join our Finance team. This role involves processing payrolls for multiple UK entities, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and handling various payroll-related tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:
- **Process Payrolls**:Handle payroll processing for three UK entities: Nova Aerospace Ltd, Nova Systems (International) Ltd, and Two10degrees Ltd.
- **Payroll Inbox Management**:Review the payroll mail inbox to gather information on payroll changes from employees and the People team.
- **Monthly Liaison**:Collaborate with the People team monthly to ensure all payroll changes are accurately input into Oracle NetSuite.
- **Team Coordination**:Liaise with the Head of Finance/Finance Director (HOF/FD) and the Finance team as necessary.
- **Variations Report**:Prepare a variations report on changes to gross and net pay for HOF/FD review prior to payroll sign-off.
- **HMRC Reporting**:Prepare details of monthly and end-of-year payments to HMRC for all three payrolls.
- **Pension Reporting**:Prepare pension reports for the pension provider.
- **Benefits Administration**:Handle information related to benefits providers, including Payroll Giving, Cycle to Work, and Vitality.
- **Payroll Journals**:Prepare journals from payrolls in Excel format for uploading to Oracle NetSuite.
- **P11ds Preparation**:Prepare end-of-year P11ds.
- **PSA Return**:Prepare PSA return and payment details.
- **Irish Payroll Liaison**:Coordinate with Irish accountants for processing the Irish payroll.
- **Reporting Enhancement**:Develop better reporting capabilities out of Oracle NetSuite.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in running payrolls, ideally with Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing payroll reports and managing payroll-related communications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively with finance and people teams, ensuring smooth payroll operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
