As Buying & Merchandising Assistant you will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our Buying & Merchandising function. Reporting to Head of Trading & Product Manager, you will be involved with many stages of a product lifecycle, dealing with multiple Suppliers and cross functionally with many areas of the business including Trading, Finance, Warehousing and CN Product Team. You need to have a passion for data and figures and be proficient in Excel and manipulating data. **Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Act as a contact for the Merchandising Team, dealing with issues and queries.
- Work with the Product Manager & Ecom team to improve products for use on website and internal systems.
- Raising PO’s and ensuring stock is delivered correctly.
- Maintaining ERP records with new and existing products, specifications and prices.
- Creation of bundles products to be used in stores and on the website.
- Market research on competitor activity and price comparisons.

- Good commercial instinct & general awareness.
- Good presentation skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.

**Qualification and Skills**:

- Experience in a similar role or in the Bathroom industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong sense discretion.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate confidence with suppliers and other external organisations.

**Hours**: 40hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

**Holidays**: 20days per year plus public holidays

**Benefits**: Usual large company benefits available after qualifying period, including health benefits and company pension.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
