Merchandising Assistant

Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join their team in Manchester. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for analysing sales reports and performance, taking ownership of decisions on potential risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Profit Management: Assist in managing profit margins and making informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Stock and Sales Control: Work closely with the buying, QA, and sourcing teams to ensure accurate stock and sales control for stores and web.
- Commercial Projects: Assist with ad-hoc commercial and merchandising projects, identifying opportunities to drive business growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyse sales reports and performance data to inform business decisions.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or similar role.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage a varied workload.
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to analyse data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
