The Acorn Group is one of London and Kent’s most successful and ambitious property companies. Incorporating Acorn, Langford Russell, and John Payne Estate Agents, we now have 40 offices and 20 Divisions.

We are currently looking to recruit a **Debt Controller** to join our busy **Property Management Division.**

**Duties will **include**:

- Proactive management of all rental income for a portfolio of PRS tenancies.
- Chase outstanding rents from 14+ days through to resolution.
- Daily arrears and default reporting to large corporate and investment clients
- Promotion of good tenant relations to improve tenant retention and minimise voids.
- Preparation and servicing of statutory notices.
- Property visits to chase Debtors & serve Section 21 Notices by hand.
- Raise all Department Warranty Claims.
- Complete and serve Section 8 Notices, Notice to Quits & Abandonment Notices.
- Mediation between landlords and tenants.
- Liaising with Solicitors; Attend Possession Hearings, Evictions, Instruct Locksmiths, Attend Application to Suspend Hearings.
- Generate reports for Line Management.

- Experience in the residential lettings sector or in debt collection.

**Salary**: Up to £36,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
