We have an opportunity for the following full-time, permanent vacancy within our Transport and Workshop department, based in Marden Hereford:
**Commercial Vehicle Mechanic**

Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that all commercial vehicles are mechanically safe and legal for use on the public highway, in accordance with regulations set out by DVSA and the terms of our Operators Licence.
- Mechanical fault finding and preventative maintenance.
- Complete periodic Safety Inspections on our fleet of Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV) and Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) and trailers, in accordance with our Operator’s Licence. Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed (for yourself and others in your work area).
- All checklists and relevant paperwork completed accurately and timely.
- Flexibility in duties to ensure best business practice across whole site.
- Be a qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications or IRTE equivalent.
- Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Hold a commercial driving licence.
- Have the ability to prioritise workload.
