The post-holder will provide operational management and leadership for the Resuscitation Team and Simulation Team, including direct line management responsibility for staff within both teams. The role will involve leading the Resuscitation and Simulation teams to achieve a forward thinking, innovative service and ensure the delivery of high quality simulation and resuscitation based education that is responsive to and meets the needs of clinical services and ensures the best standards of safe and effective patient care. The post holder will provide a vital link between Resuscitation and Simulation based education and clinical services, which is crucial for the Trusts patient safety agenda, and will require effective collaborative working relationships with all key stakeholders. The role will also involve working with the Head of Service and other Education and Organisation Development leads as part of the broader senior management team, including involvement with the Trusts upcoming Health and Care Academy.
