**Job Purpose** Works closely with the Reward Senior Manager to support the day to day delivery and enhance our benefits programmes in the UK.In addition to be responsible for assisting with market reviews and implementing competitive and relevant benefits.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Supports the Head of Reward in the delivery of our benefits programmes to include our annual renewals, annual enrolment window on the firms flexible benefit portal (**Mazars benefits**); the continued development of **Mazars benefits** as well as benefits data and policy submissions to Willis Towers Watson and other compensation data providers
- Project manages the implementation and communication of new employee benefits and initiatives
- Conducts the monthly new joiner introduction to **Mazars benefits** for new joiners and Partners
- Pre-approves the processing of benefit invoices having reviewed against reports produced from Mazars benefits / pre-approved external projects
- Liaises with the Services Centre to ensure the integrity of all data on **Mazars benefits** to ensure that all external benefit providers receive complete and accurate employee data through regular auditing
- Recommends and implements improvements to existing internal audit procedures, as well as developing and implementing new internal audit procedures to ensure accuracy of benefits enrolments and compliance
- Prepares budget / budget reforecast information with input from the Head of Reward and external benefit providers / benefits consultant
- Undertakes monthly reconciliations of benefit spend against Reward budget
- Liaises with the Services Centre team on benefits and salary related issues and processes, referring non-standard queries to the Senior Manager, Reward
- Resolves day today queries relating to the firm's flexible benefit portal (**Mazars benefits )**on a day-to-day basis and co-ordinates the month-end processes with the system provider
- Evaluates existing benefit programmes and makes fully costed recommendations for improvements.
- Maintains regular contact with external benefit providers on an operational basis, leading to deliver improved processes and support for employees
- Validates data to ensure that submission of accurate **Mazars benefits** data is submitted to external compensation data providers in the agreed format and to agree timelines

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Strong technical skills with at least four years of experience benefits including pensions (group personal pension) or in a wider HR role, handling benefits in a UK environment.
- Good working knowledge of UK statutory benefits requirements and UK employment legislation
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exercise sound independent judgment including knowing when to consult with the Head of Reward
- Client service focused. Can demonstrate the ability to follow up and follow through.
- Able to investigate issues and respond appropriately by gathering and evaluating different sources of information and by drawing on various resources
- Well organised, attention to detail, can priorities and able to demonstrate a strong “can do” attitude
- Process driven with a high degree of personal and professional integrity
- Able to manage several different tasks simultaneously ensuring that timelines are adhered to
- Can work collaboratively and cross functionally, a strong team player
