Operations Coordinator

Aqua Environmental Services Ltd is an environmental risk management company providing air and water hygiene treatment services to a wide range of industries covering the UK.
We are gaining expediential growth and expanding to cover additional environmental safety services. Due to our growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Coordinator to oversee our day-to-day operations and are open to developing their skills and progressing their career with Aqua.
**Salary**: £23,000.00 to £26,000.00 depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 PM
Tasks & Responsibilities (training will be provided where necessary):
- Plan field staff jobs using an operational planner.
- Contacting sites to schedule task dates, plan arrangements and access for field staff.
- Arranging and sending health and safety permits to work and risk assessment method statements.
- Monitoring and managing operatives’ day-to-day activities via the tracker and operational planner.
- Answering phones and responding to client requests and enquiries.
- Raise issues to the line manager for staff and client issues, absenteeism and annual leave.
- Receive and chase timesheets for the payroll team.
- Communicating with operatives to adhere to lone working policy.
- Send analytical reports to clients with a basic interpretation.
- Review field staff competency records to appoint the specific work task.
- Ensuring internal processes are well-organised and discipline is followed.
- Managing and updating company databases.
- Maintaining employee, subcontractors, and client records.
- Keeping track of inventory, ordering supplies, and providing field staff with equipment.
- Manage operative health & safety arrangements and PPE.
- Various admin activities to assist with work operations.
- Quality controlling reports and surveys.
- Creating computer-aided design drawings.
- Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements.

Experience and Skill Required
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Water hygiene/treatment and air hygiene experience would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Previous work experience within operational administration
Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
