We are looking to strengthen our Operational Team with an experienced Transport / Depot Manager

**Job Summary**:
To facilitate and manage the delivery and collection services for LPC its customers and its partners. Working closely with the Management team to ensure high levels of customer care, efficient planning and vehicle compliance.

**Reports To**:
**Shift Manager**

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide a high level of efficient planning for both parcel and pallet deliveries to ensure excellent levels of service to all LPC’s customers
- Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules for all staff and operatives.
- Achieve agreed SLA’s and maintaining effectiveness of the warehouse and distribution departments.
- Working closely with the drivers, the admin and the warehouse staff to ensure deliveries are on time and trunks are to capacity within the required timescales.

**The above list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to perform any other duties that can reasonably be expected of this position.**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Full UK Driving License
- Tranport office experience advantageous
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the Leeds and Yorkshire area advantageous.

**Person Specification**:

- Punctual
- Competent in the use of: Warehouse/ Delivery Management Systems
- Excellent communication / listening skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure, and to tight deadlines.

A good understanding of commercial awareness.
- Flexible approach to work

**Working Hours**:
This is a full time role Monday to Friday variable between 7am - 8pm 40hours per week

**Health and Safety**:

- You are responsible for all aspects of health and safety of yourself and others.
- Work alongside the Health and Safety Manager to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Note**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
