**Role Overview**
We are looking for a new patient administrator/receptionist to joint our Teesside site. A full-time role would be 40 hours over 5 days per week (including weekends on a rota basis), however part-time hours would be considered.
Our receptionists are the first person our patients will see when they visit a clinic, so a friendly, approachable and welcoming personality is essential.
The receptionist will welcome all patients and check them in for their clinic or theatre visits. You will be working on a patient record system alongside other systems, so should be comfortable using a variety of technology solutions.
The thought of eye surgery can be a daunting prospect for patients to deal with, so our team members need to be empathetic and able to put patients at ease.
**What skills and experience do I need?**
- Previous experience in a customer or patient facing role
- Experience in a busy administrative role
- Competent user of all Office 365 programmes
- Experience of working under own initiative
- Tech savvy and comfortable working on new systems eg. patient record systems
- A good telephone manner
- An excellent grasp of the English language both verbally and in written format
- A good team player and happy to support others when required

- Salary negotiable depending on experience with a range of £24,960.00 - £29,348.80
