Crown Paints is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Change Agent to join our team at the Hull Manufacturing Site.

Play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives, fostering change, and optimising our manufacturing operations through the implementation of digital technologies and processes.

Reporting to the Digital Change Lead you will drive the Industry 4.0 Roadmap by supporting design, development and implementation of priority solutions and managing digital change for a specific case use case. Collaborating with Hempel‘s Digital and IT teams, as well as support functions and the site management team.

Your efforts will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and driving business growth through successful digital initiatives. You'll also be involved in:
Digital Strategy: Find opportunities for digital technologies to drive innovation, improve processes, and enhance business performance.

Change Management: Engage with the business, address resistance, and communicate the benefits and impact of digital transformation.

Technology Adoption: Provide mentorship to the site teams in understanding and utilising digital tools, platforms, and processes. Help identify skill gaps and facilitate training programs to improve digital literacy.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and external partners to drive digital initiatives. Build positive relationships and foster collaboration to ensure alignment and successful implementation of digital projects.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training to build digital capabilities and promote digital literacy across the organisation.

What do you need to be successful?

You'll be a catalyst for change, capable of influencing and encouraging a digital-first mentality onsite. Training employees on new digital tools and technologies, and ensuring successful adoption and integration, you'll be able to take colleagues on a journey, coaching and guiding them through change. Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, using them for further advancements. With strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective communication skills, this will enable you to drive successful digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable results and contribute to Crown Paints' overall success in the market.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Management, Engineering or Operations, business, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Professional experience 5+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of project management and Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Understanding of financial, operating and business factors relating to Manufacturing,
- Experience working in Operational/Industrial environment and experience coaching or in a front-line managerial position.
- Desirable - knowledge of Lean and Operational excellence, facilitation/training delivery and knowledge and experience of Industry 4.0 technologies/data analytics and transformations.
- Desirable - knowledge of Agile principles
