The Role  

The Digital Engineering Associate role is to assist Wood with a continuous digital drive to embrace innovative software and hardware solutions.

Typical responsibilities

Creating / updating documentation as required in line with client engineering requirements Utilisation of software packages enabling the continued update and creation of 2D documentation, 3D designs, 3D models, digital twins, intelligent documentation etc Effective utilisation of digital engineering software and hardware tools  Effective use of Information Management Systems and Content Service Platforms Participate in the undertaking of site surveys to include digital capture (laser scanning) and utilising innovative / emerging technology across our diverse global client locations Identify relevant technical documentation with guidance from Technical Specialists. Utilising innovative software and hardware solutions to solve modern age problems / challenges Delivering assigned scopes of work in line with contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and business objectives Efficiently working with / managing client data in a secure manner Actively participating in competency and training modules / tasks Interacting with multi-discipline engineering teams and departments Efficiently and accurately executing assigned work tasks to schedule / budget limitations Developing in accordance with agreed training / development plan.

Skills And Qualifications

Expected:

Grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Desirable:  

 A level (or equivalent) Grade B (or above)  Suitable CAD knowledge or appropriate qualification.
