**What will you be doing?**

As a Human Resources Apprentice you'll form part of a government structured apprenticeship scheme that will have relevant, online educational learning as well as practical day to day work as part of a larger team of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and HR Operations. You must be an organizational guru with attention to detail, work effectively with a broad range of internal and external professionals, possess great communication and interpersonal skills. Some tasks could be but not limited:

- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources team
- Support any HR projects as / when required such as meetings, training, surveys etc
- Support employee requests regarding policy issues, rules, and regulations
- Communicate with public services when necessary

**Where/how will you be working?**

The HR Apprentice is based within is based in our Hungerford (Berkshire) office with hybrid home working on offer after passing probation period. The office is well equipped, with kitchen facilities, close to shops and with free on-site parking. The role requires someone to work 7.5 hours per day with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

**What will you be learning?**

To allow you to develop and learn in the role, you will spend allocated time each week on the apprenticeship learning content. This could be delivered in a variety of ways, including face to face or online. You will have regular reviews with your line manager and apprenticeship tutor/coach, to ensure you are demonstrating the required knowledge, skills and behaviours for the role.** **Alongside this, you will follow a structured development programme, focusing on the core skills of the role, such as communication, collaboration, team work, personal development, customer service, problem solving and driving change. You will also gain the technical know how of the software and systems our customers use, through courses and 1:1 support. Our apprentices go on to more senior roles in the team or wider business, enabling growth and progression both personally and professionally.
