We understand hospitality can involve anti-social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £36,000 full-time annual salary can earn up to £13.50 per hour

This is working Sunday - Thursday from 7pm - 5am, Saturday and Sunday from 5am - 7pm and Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm - 5am

We also recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service.

**On top of your salary you can** **earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (points based criteria for eligibility).**

You can buy up to 5 additional holidays after 3 years' service, cycle to work scheme, complimentary use of the golf courses and driving range, discounts in food & beverage outlets, bedrooms, Spa and Holiday Park.

If you do live out, we offer a Taxi Policy and contribute towards your taxi to and from work outside of the designated bus times Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday.

**About the Role**

The Rudding Park team's core purpose is to create timeless memories and instinctive care in exceptional spaces.

To support the Assistant Reception Manager/Reception Manager and deputise for them in their absence and where appropriate manage and be responsible for the day to day operations of the Hotel Reception ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to all guests at all times.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that the Reception team are providing a quality service to our guests maintaining the Rudding Park philosophy on guest care
- To be confident in assisting in the smooth running of the department assisting with training of staff
- To establish a good relationship with colleagues showing teamwork and flexibility to assist in solving problems and answering queries
- To work with all other departments in a suitably respectful, courteous and helpful manner
- To have a good working knowledge of all departments of the Hotel
- Ensure effective communication of all relevant information to the department and the Hotel as a whole
- Ensure the reception team liaises with the reservations team on a daily basis regarding any relevant issues including assisting with reservation work, especially during 2 days check
- To record all relevant comments of appreciation, suggestions and maintenance points in order to initiate follow up suing integrity
- On arrival on your shift, read the function sheets, fact sheet, DM reports, challenge log attend any briefings, receive hand over/instruction from shift leader
