This role is in our HR Advisory Service where we have a team of HR Consultants who provide employee relations advice to our customers who are primarily schools and academies in Kent.

**Job Role**

Our team of HR Administrators provide a support service function to the HR Consultants and our customers. Our focus is providing efficient and effective administrative support at all times whilst maintaining our high levels of customer service.

This job enables you to work from home but there will be times when you will need to visit our main office in Kings Hill ME19

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- You will work closely and collaboratively with our HR Admin team of six to support us in providing an excellent service to both the wider team and our customers.
- You will be the first point of contact for our customers, monitoring calls for team members, filtering as appropriate and redirecting calls when necessary to ensure matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- You will support the Headteacher recruitment process on behalf of schools and in liaison with colleagues.
- You will support with the administration associated with employee related suspensions to enable appropriate reimbursement to be made
- You will ensure that all work carried out for customers is time recorded accurately so that customer billing is up to date
- You will support with our job benchmarking processes by collating documents and making assessments.

**What we need from you**
- You will have experience of working as an administrator and providing support to a team of staff
- Good communication and competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Have a confident telephone manner and electronic diary management skills
- Good typing skills
- Establish and maintain good partnership working with manager and colleagues with a positive and proactive approach
- Ability to be extremely accurate, detailed, and confidential
- Ability to carry out work and tasks with a strong customer focus
- Knowledge of importance of data protection and confidentiality issues
- Aware of commitment to equality and diversity
- A helpful attitude with patience and tolerance
