We are currently seeking a reliable and diligent Domestic to join our care home team. As a Domestic, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents. **Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing designated areas within the care home.
- Ensure that communal areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and other shared spaces are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting residents' clothing and linens.
- Maintain inventory and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas for meals and snacks.
- Work collaboratively with the care home team to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and data protection policies when handling residents' personal belongings.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties and tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar cleaning or domestic role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the care home.
