You will be responsible for the management of a unit, including the deployment and supervision of staff throughout the 24-hour day. You will assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate written care plans. You will set and monitor standards of care within the framework of the home's philosophies and goals and statement of purpose. You will be required to greet visitors and professionals, answering the door and phone, and ensure enquiries are captured effectively and that management are aware of out-of-hours enquiries. You will support the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home while upholding the quality and standards set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet individual needs
  • Maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the care home
  • Support the Manager in upholding quality and standards

Requirements:

  • Senior experience in care management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
