You will be responsible for making sure that community fundraising continues to generate sustainable income for the hospice, this includes encouraging public participation in fundraising events and challenges, supporting volunteer fundraisers, building on and developing new connections in the local community to raise awareness and support for the hospice.

As Fundraising Assistant, you will be part of the talented Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity team, ensuring that the charity is financially sustainable and widely recognised and supported by the local community and organisations.

You will act as a helpful and knowledgeable representative of the Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity, providing excellent levels of service and support for donors, prospective donors, volunteers and those in the local community. You will be confident in liaising with clinical staff, patients and trustees where required, and you will contribute towards the annual planning process.

You will have previous fundraising experience or comparable experience and you will be a self-starter, willing to learn and capable of hitting the ground running and working to ambitious income targets.
