Telephone Triage Practitioner

**Location**:Worcester Royal Hospital
**Job Purpose**
The Telephone Triage Practitioner will manage calls from individuals who are experiencing a high level of mental health distress, their families and professionals. The role will work in close partnership with the NHS Crisis Team acting as a link between individual, professional and other services by ensuring continuity of support by delivering an efficient and effective person-centred service.
The Practitioner role will navigate the individuals through defined pathways to enable delivery of the right help at the right time with the right outcome. In addition the practitioner will be expected to undertake administrative duties so strong IT skills are required. Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and mental health services is essential along with resilience.
**Day shifts are worked 8am - 9pm, **allocated on a rota basis. We have one 25 hour contract available, working 2 shifts a week. We are able to provide weekend only working if this is something that appeals to you.
