Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an outstanding Lead Practitioner of English to supplement and enhance a strong established and supportive English department. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated professional with vision, tenacity, optimism, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate and lead change in a progressive, dynamic and improving Academy to inspire and develop English provision within the Academy and ensure that our students and staff excel. To succeed, you will be a English specialist, have the credibility to lead teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and have the vision, energy and proven track record to ensure that our students are inspired by English, engage in learning and are eager to succeed.

You will join an experienced team who are passionate about innovative teaching with a focus on continual improvement. You will have the opportunity to teach at both GCSE and A level and to join a team of outstanding practitioners who share a passion for excellence.

As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the teaching practice of others within the academy and beyond. We are keen to secure a high calibre practitioner who can make a telling contribution to our forward-looking team.
