Fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Nottingham
- ** Your Role **:We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Finance team in Nottingham. You’ll accurately control purchase invoices, ensure correct gross profit reporting and support your colleagues to meet important deadlines. Please note this a maternity cover for 12 months. If you are eager to learn and have an immediate impact on the business, this is the role for you
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of Forwarding Subledger controlling, ensuring accurate gross profit reporting and that monthly closure deadlines are met
- Responsibility for controlling purchase invoices within Road Logistics and following up with different stakeholders on any related queries
- Build strong relationships with the Branch Account Managers and support them in other Finance aspects
- Jump in when needed and assist other team members in order to meet team deadlines and contribute to team goals

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience within the areas of Finance or General Administration would be a great foundation for this role
- You’re a logical problem solver who doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to find the right solution
- You’re confident in using Excel on a daily basis
- You’ll bring with you excellent organisational skills and are very detail-oriented
- You’re a great communicator in English (both verbally and in writing) and enjoy working in a team with a diverse group of people
