**Salary**: £52,084 - £57,344 dependant on experience.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Reporting to Senior Management on technical program progress and issues
- Co-ordinating and Integrating Weapon System clearances
- Assurance of clear Technical Requirements from the customer
- Interfacing with Eurofighter /Partner Companies /Contract teams/ Technical Managers and specialist engineering teams
- Assuring technical compliance of SDR Clearance statements
- Authoring of Aircraft Level Clearance documentation

**Essential**:

- Able and willing to work autonomously
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Capable of establishing and fostering contact networks
- Effective at working as part of a team
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- A working knowledge complex military aircraft systems and their interactions

**Desirable**:

- Professionally registered or actively working towards it
- An understanding of the Typhoon weapon system is desirable but not essential
- An understanding of the Eurofighter Consortium of European Partners is desirable but not essential
- An understand of aircraft clearance processes and governance is desirable but not essential
- Experience of people management and development is desirable but not essential

**The Export International Engineering team**:
The Export International Engineering Team within Typhoon Weapon System Engineering, has an opportunity for a Platform Integration Engineer to lead and integrate several Key Capability delivery activities for the Qatar Typhoon Customer, including new weapons, sensors, and software upgrade packages. The role includes generating weapons system level clearances, ensuring new capability is cleared and fit for purpose, compiling technical documentation, managing interfaces with other technical teams, ensuring their inputs and deliverables are provided to schedule, Coordinating deliverables and dependencies from the specialist engineering teams such as avionics, sensors, aerodynamics, weights, structures, etc. Liaising within bae systems and across Europe with Eurofighter partners, as well as supporting the in-service fleet through their availability contract.
