**Salary**: £90,000+ depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Be responsible for the Governance and Leadership of the Protective Security disciplines across the FCAS business both domestically and internationally covering Cyber, Physical, Personnel and Technical Security domains
- Lead a multi-disciplined Security team to deliver the BAE Systems FCAS Security Strategy, acting as the central point of escalation for critical security risk into the FCAS board and Sector Security Team.
- Identify key security threats and risks related to the business, providing the necessary analysis, assessment, prevention, assurance and response activities required to manage those security risks to an acceptable level.
- In coordination with the Customer, provide senior level support to UK and International Security Working Groups, representing the interests of BAE Systems and Industry key partners
- Lead and develop mechanism to ensure contractual Security requirements are fully captured, understood and implemented - including the flow-down of requirement to, and continued assurance of the FCAS supply chain.
- Provide the assurance on the effectiveness of Security through business reporting mechanisms ; manage Return to Green plans in the event of non-compliance
- Oversight for Security Incident and Crisis Management provision for the FCAS Business.
- Interface with Export Control and Product Integrity disciplines to ensure a fully integrated and holistic approach to Security and Export Control across the FCAS enterprise

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Minimum of 5 years leading the delivery of Security/Cyber Security on large projects in the Government Defence sector (or commercial organisations bound by HMG Defence standards)
- Broad experience in Cyber Security and Cyber Security management methodologies
- Experience of working in a complex engineering environment
- In-depth knowledge of HMG and industry Security & Cyber Security policy, standards and good practice guidance
- Trusted and established network of senior cross government stakeholder relationships.
- Track record of communicating effectively at Executive Board level, across multiple businesses and home markets.
