Friars has been established for nearly 100 years and we have 2 shops, chocolate manufacturing and our online business friars.co.uk. We’re a family company based in the Lake District and we’re all about chocolate.
Currently we employ 40 people which increases significantly in the few months leading up to Christmas.
We’re developing a site in Penrith with the view to consolidate our 2 non retail sites within the next 18 months.

Friars is a 96 year old, multichannel family business. Your role would be within the goods packing team, placing orders, monitoring stock and all other tasks that come with fulfilling our packing requirements. The role is varied so we’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual.

**What you'll do**
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence with suppliers
- Ordering stock
- Managing stock takes
- Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance
- Filing and archiving
- Creating and managing documents and spreadsheets
- Creating product ingredient labels
- Join the packing team at quieter times

**What you'll bring**
- Time management and organisational skills

This job is based in Keswick. Within 18 months we intend to relocate our 2 non retail sites to Penrith in a pupose built office, manufacturing and warehouse facility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.40 per hour
