We are looking for a **Transport Planner** to join our Operations team based at Peterlee. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the efficient routing and scheduling of our fuel tankers at our Northern based depots, ensuring we exceed our customer expectations. You will be responsible for routing both artic and rigid fuel tankers optimally, championing customer excellence in all that you do.

This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, during our core operating hours Monday to Friday.

**About you**:

- 1+ years' related experience in a similar role (transportation routing, scheduling or logistics)
- An understanding of driver hours and the associated legislation relating to the transport industry is preferable; however, full training will be given
- Experience of providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships with both customers and colleagues
- Great attention to detail, ability to prioritise, show initiative and make decisions
- Have great communication skills
- Have a methodical approach to work
- Good demonstrative experience of Microsoft packages
- ADR awareness (preferable)
- Codas experience (preferable)
