**Job Summary**

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our busy team. you must have a positive attitude, be a team player and have an eye for detail.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:

- To be fully responsible for food preparation for the day ahead - this is heavily focused on salad and vegetable preparation;
- Assisting with the preparation and presentation of food;
- To undertake washing up duties
- To maintain outstanding cleanliness and presentation standards in the preparation area at all times by correctly following the cleaning schedules for the kitchen.
- To ensure food hygiene regulations and procedures are followed to a consistently high standard;
- To clean the section and other areas as directed and to complete daily clear down;
- To support all members of the Kitchen team;
- To support and be responsible for hygiene and wastage in the Kitchen;
- To ensure a clean and organised work station is maintained at all times and ensure the cleaning rota is completed each week;
- To maintain a clean environment and ensure compliance with all Health and Hygiene regulations;
- To ensure all relevant paperwork is undertaken at the end of service for wastage records.
- To undertake relevant Health and Safety training including COSHH, Allergen and Food Safety level 2 if required.

General
- To work closely with the whole team to ensure a seamless and effective service is embedded;
- To keep up to date with changes with product and service information and share relevant information with other members of the team as appropriate;
- To undertake other duties as reasonably expected;
- Follow all Company policies, procedures and established guidelines;
- Undertake available training and development as deemed necessary;
- Be available to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.45-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
