The Supply Room, an equal opportunities employer, is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a rewarding position **in Kensal Green.** This role focuses on **KS1, **where your dedication can make a tremendous impact.

No formal qualifications are needed for this role, but holding **GCSE English and Maths at Grade C is essential.** More importantly, we are looking for someone with previous experience of working with children and a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and mental health issues they may face. This knowledge will enable you to provide the best possible support to the students in your care.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping these young children navigate their emotions and develop the necessary skills for success. You will work closely with classroom teachers to provide tailored interventions and individualized support, creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for all students.

The Supply Room acknowledges the value and commitment our teaching assistants bring to their roles. That's why we offer a competitive pay rate of £81.76 per day. Additionally, this position is a long-term fixed contract, providing you with stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with the students and staff.

As part of our recruitment process, we undertake safeguarding checks in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This includes obtaining two references and conducting a satisfactory enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service, as the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
